FTTP – FTTP (Fibre To The Premises), also known as full fibre, describes a fibre connection which takes data from the source to your office via a fibre optic connection. This technology provides superfast speeds and a stable connection. 

FTTC – Unlike FTTP, FTTC (Fibre To The Cabinet) uses existing copper infrastructure in addition to fibre optic cables. Data comes to you via ‘cabinets’ (the green boxes you may have seen around town) into which fibre optic connections have been routed, while the remaining distance to your office is covered by reliable copper cables. Our experts will be able to find an FTTP or FTTC solution which delivers fast speeds at affordable prices.  

FTTC G.Fast – There is also FTTC G.Fast, which uses the standard copper cables, however the download speeds are bolstered by a special pod, which changes the frequency of the connection.  

Leased Lines – A direct connection from your ISP (Internet Service Provider), leased lines are great if you are a heavy internet user, or even if you are not. LABOC will draw up guaranteed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) which define in advance the level of service you will receive, with back-up solutions in the case anything goes awry.  

SOGEA – A response to a decreased demand for traditional phone line services, SOGEA (Single Order Generic Ethernet Access) is broadband without the landline. A future-proof solution which prepares your business for the ISDN and PSTN switch-off, using the reliable FTTC infrastructure.  

Mobile Broadband – LABOC also offers mobile broadband solutions which enable greater flexibility, with employees able to stay connected on the move.
